Marlene Grenon, MD, MBA has a vast and varied work experience. In 2010, they began their career at the University of California, San Francisco as Director of Digital Health and AI, Innovation Ventures, where they built up the operational infrastructure of UCSF data and AI-related initiatives and supported the transition of UCSF innovation by faculty/scientists out of the lab and into the marketplace. In addition, they served as a Vascular Surgeon and Associate Clinical Professor. In 2018, they co-founded and served on the Board of Directors of AMNIe.org, an ESG provider for small to mid-sized companies. In 2019, they began working at the American Medical Association as a Medical Expert in Digital Health and AI, and also co-founded Syntegra, where they led operations and medical affairs for the cutting-edge AI data and privacy technology for healthcare and clinical trials. In 2020, they began working as a Medical Advisor at Kintsugi, and in 2021 they became an Independent Board Director at THORASYS Thoracic Medical Systems Inc. and a Clinical and Scientific Advisor at Trial Library. Marlene has also served as an Advisor to Incubator and Start-ups and an Angel Investor at The Batchery since 2015, and as a Medical Advisor at Innovein since 2018. Most recently, they began working as Chief Medical Officer at Evry Health in 2018, where they contribute to programs related to care management, wellness, chronic disease management and quality assurance.

Marlene Grenon, MD, MBA has an extensive education history. Marlene obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from McGill University, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in Aerospace Medicine from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Marlene then completed a Masters in Medical Sciences, Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Harvard Medical School as part of the Scholars in Clinical Sciences Program. Subsequently, they earned an Executive MBA from Brown University and IE Business School. In 2001, they also obtained a Licentiate from the Medical Council of Canada. In addition, they have obtained various certifications and designations, such as a Fellow from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2007, a Specialist in Vascular Medicine from the AMERICAN BOARD OF VASCULAR MEDICINE INC in 2018, an American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Review Course from the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM) in 2020, and a Global Competent Boards Designation (GCB.D) from ESG Competent Boards in 2021. Marlene is also currently enrolled in the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme at the University of Oxford, which they are expected to complete in March 2022.
