Jerry Wang

Jerry Wang has worked in the software engineering and data engineering fields since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Senior Database Engineer at LinkedIn, where they developed a data replication service and built tools for monitoring and alerting. Jerry then moved to Facebook in 2014, where they were a Data Engineer for Analytics and was the tech lead for producing models for company-wide metrics. In 2016, they joined Uber as a Senior Software Engineer II and was a tech lead for the data platform team, building tools to make data more accessible, resource efficient, and reliable. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Threads, working on product, platform, integrations, developer experience, infrastructure, and security.

Jerry Wang attended UC San Diego, where they earned a degree in Bioengineering with a focus in Bioniformatics.
