Manuel Hernández has a diverse and extensive work experience. Manuel currently holds the position of VP, Customer Success at Thrivable, where they act as a solution partner for customers and ensures they fully utilize the platform's capabilities. Manuel has also made significant contributions to the Diabetes Hands Foundation, serving as President, Co-Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Manuel played a pivotal role in the organization's growth and successfully transferred its communities to Beyond Type 1 before its dissolution.

Earlier in their career, Manuel worked as a Bilingual Diabetes Columnist for dLife, writing articles in both English and Spanish.

Manuel Hernández has an extensive education history. Manuel obtained a Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certificate from Cornell University in 2019, with a field of study in Labor and Industrial Relations. In 2005, they completed the Executive Leadership: Preparing for an Uncertain Future Certificate from Cornell University, focusing on Management. Additionally, in 2002 and 2003, they pursued an MBA at Arizona State University, but did not complete the degree program.

Manuel also holds a M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, which they earned between 1994 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana (VE) from 1989 to 1994. Their education journey began at Colegio La Salle - La Colina, where they completed their Bachiller degree in Ciencias from 1976 to 1989.
