Job description

Thrust Avionics is a FAA part 145 Repair Station performing maintenance and inspection services for light general aviation aircraft.

The maintenance assistant position is responsible for overseeing inventory, purchasing and billing of aircraft maintenance parts and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Place parts orders based on shop manager requests or inventory reorder levels

  • Oversee Inventory

  • Verify parts receipts and vendor invoices

  • Stock parts and monitor quantities

  • Issue parts to work orders as requested

  • Monitor work order progress

  • Invoice completed work orders

  • Accept customer payments

  • Assist shop manager with work order scheduling

  • Maintain an orderly filing system

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

  • Prepare work order parts kits

  • Monitor aircraft times to ensure maintenance is done as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

· Experience with Google workspace, Microsoft office

· Experience using Quantum is a plus

· Prior experience in inventory management and repair shop operations required

· Aviation experience a plus
