Lauren Porter

Lauren Porter has extensive experience in design roles. Lauren is currently serving as the Head of Design at Thumbtack since August 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Acting Head of Design and Senior Director, Acting Head of Design and Director, and Head of Product Design and Director at the same company. Previously, they worked at Hipmunk as a Senior Product Designer and Product Designer from June 2015 to June 2016. Prior to that, they were a Product Designer at Threadflip from January 2013 to April 2014, and at sneakpeeq.com from June 2011 to January 2013.

Lauren Porter attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued Art History and Fine Arts. Lauren then studied at John Cabot University from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a degree in Art History. Finally, they attended the City College of San Francisco from 2008 to 2012, majoring in Graphic Design.
