Ryan McKenna

Ryan McKenna has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Ryan started their career at the University of Delaware as a Football Student Manager and Football Operations Intern, where they assisted the coaching, operations, and equipment staff during practice, games, and off-season activities. Ryan then worked as an Equipment Assistant for the Philadelphia Eagles during their 2012 training camp, where they gained valuable experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

In 2013, Ryan participated in the Manhattan Sports Business Academy, where they were selected as one of 20 participants. Through this program, they secured an internship with Platinum Rye Entertainment, where they served as a Marketing Research & Talent Procurement Intern. Ryan'sresponsibilities included identifying and procuring potential clients for sponsorship and endorsement deals, initiating outreach to talent representatives, and reviewing contract drafts.

Ryan also interned at BAC Sports Management as an Athlete Representation Intern, where they worked under an NFLPA Certified Player Agent, assisting in the daily operations of the agency. Ryan placed and received phone calls to clients, potential clients, and NFL personnel.

Following their internships, Ryan joined Thuzio, a sports events and media company. Ryan held various positions, starting as an Associate in Talent Recruitment, where they assisted in booking talent and influencers for live and virtual events. Ryan then progressed to roles such as Senior Associate, Manager of Agency Relations & Strategic Partnerships, Senior Manager of Talent Partnerships, Director of Talent Programming & Procurement, and currently serves as Vice President of Talent Sales & Client Services.

Ryan McKenna attended Notre Dame High School from 2005 to 2009. Following graduation, they enrolled at the University of Delaware in 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management (B.S.) with a focus on Sport Management. Ryan completed their undergraduate education at the University of Delaware in 2013.
