Kannan Jayaprakash

Kannan Jayaprakash is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in program and project management. Currently serving as Lead Program Manager at TIAA since January 2023, Kannan previously held various senior management roles at Cognizant from December 2007 to January 2023, including Senior Information Technology Manager and IT Project & Service Manager. Kannan successfully led significant projects such as the transition and stabilization of a legacy billing platform and the shift from Waterfall to SAFe methodology, achieving notable reductions in development backlog. Kannan possesses a strong background in stakeholder management, process improvement, and team leadership across multiple technology domains. Kannan holds a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University Chennai and is pursuing a Postgraduate Program in Artificial Intelligence for Leaders at The University of Texas at Austin.
