Kellie Weiss-Strausburg

Kellie enjoys thinking about how people process and retain information. She also gets excited about new technologies and how they affect learning.

Kellie taught writing, literature, and intercultural communications for nearly 20 years from DC (Howard University) to California (Cal State, Fullerton) with a few in-between (Ball State University, Robert Morris University, Point Park University). She has had a fascination with teaching and learning since childhood. Her first official teaching moment might have been around age 7 when she taught her 5-year-old neighbor how to swim in the kiddie pool. What drives her is seeing those "lightbulb moments" when the learning clicks.
