Aqeel Ashraf

Aqeel Ashraf has diverse work experience in business development and marketing roles within the healthcare research and consulting industry. Aqeel began their career as a Procurement Data Manager at Equant Integration Services in 2001. Later, they worked as a Sales Operations Analyst at Johnson & Johnson from 2006 to 2007. From 2007 to 2013, Aqeel served in various business development roles at PharmaNet Development Group, Inc., including Business Development Associate and Business Development Associate II. In 2011, they joined PRA International as an Account Manager before transitioning to the role of Business Development & Marketing Manager at EMEACR in 2013. Aqeel then gained experience as a Director of Business Development at PAREXEL from 2015 to 2019, and at Veristat from 2019 to 2022, holding the positions of Senior Director and Director. Aqeel continued their career as a Senior Director of Business Development at Certara from 2022 to 2023, and recently took on the role of BD Regional Head EMEA at Tigermed.

Aqeel Ashraf attended the University of Hertfordshire from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a BSc degree in Applied Biology with a specialization in Pharmacology.
