Karmel Salah

Karmel Salah is an AI Engineer at Pic-Time since April 2022, specializing in the research, design, and implementation of deep learning and machine learning models. As a co-founder of the sign language translation app "HandsUp" from March to May 2023, Karmel aimed to enhance communication for deaf individuals. Previous experience includes roles as a Software Engineer and AI Researcher with Morphysm, and freelance artistic AI research. Karmel has a strong background in web development, having developed applications for multiple organizations, and a history of translating narratives for the "Voices of Jerusalem" project. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from An Najah National University and various degrees in Hebrew Language and Literature from Middlebury College.
