Ash Sawkar

Ash Sawkar is a Compliance Counsel and Anti-Money Laundering Counsel at TikTok, where they assist the company in navigating complex global compliance and ethics regulations. They leverage over 20 years of public sector experience, including roles as a Supervisory Special Agent at the FBI and as an Assistant State Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of Arizona, Ash also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University, with a mission to uphold the rule of law, human rights, and social justice.
