Guanqun Huang

Guanqun Huang is a Staff Software Engineer at TikTok since December 2024, focusing on End-to-End Ads AI development using large language models. Previously, as a Tech Lead in AI research and Engineering Management at Black Sesame Technologies Inc., Guanqun Huang led the creation of a Multi-Modal Foundation model and oversaw the deployment of end-to-end and bird's eye view systems. Earlier experience includes roles as an AI Research Engineer at TuSimple, specializing in 3D pose fusion algorithms, and at Shenzhen Yiqing Tech Inc., developing perception algorithms. Additional contributions were made at Wuhan Cobot Technology Co., Ltd., and as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University and the State Key Lab of Digital Manufacturing Equipment & Technology in China. Guanqun Huang holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
