Simon Fermor

Simon Fermor has extensive experience in software engineering and IT management spanning over three decades. Simon has worked at companies like Arup Group, Pilates Anytime, and Rochester Public Schools ISD #535 in various roles related to software development, management systems, and IT operations support. Simon has also worked as a Site Engineer for Kyle Stewart, and as a Graduate Structural Engineer for Arup. In addition, Fermor has held various leadership positions at Junior Liaison Organisation in the past. Simon has skills in programming languages like ColdFusion, Railo, Python, and JavaScript, web development tools like WordPress Thesis theme and jQuery #tag searches, and server administration tools like SQL Server and CentOS.

Simon Fermor received their BSc degree in Civil Engineering from the Imperial College London in 1982. In 1993, they pursued an MSc degree in Computer Science at City, University of London and completed it in 1996. Simon also has multiple certifications including InDesign Quick Start from LinkedIn obtained in October 2021, Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence from ASQ - World Headquarters obtained in March 2011, Manager's Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT obtained in April 2006 and PRINCE2 for Practitioners from APMG International obtained in December 2005.
