Anna Gesch Whartnaby

Anna Gesch Whartnaby has over eight years of experience in education, currently serving as a Second Grade Teacher at Timothy Christian Schools since August 2015, where Anna emphasizes glorifying God in the classroom and collaborates in a job-share arrangement. Previously, Anna worked at Calvin Christian School, strengthening core values of Love, Integrity, and Scholarship as a Second Grade Teacher from August 2014 to June 2015. As a 2012 Corps Member for Teach For America, Anna taught first grade in the Chicago public school system from June 2012 to July 2014. Earlier roles include mentoring first-year students at Trinity Christian College and interning at The Center for Law and Culture, supporting students interested in law and politics. Anna holds a Master of Education from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Arts in English, History, and Political Science from Trinity Christian College.
