Kim Duong

Kim Duong has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. From 2019 onwards, they worked as a Senior Artist at Tina Davies Professional. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they were an Analyst, Internal Audit at Tucows. From 2013 to 2016, Kim worked at Grant Thornton LLP, first as an Accountant and later as a Senior Accountant. During their time there, they provided assurance services to public and private companies in various industries and founded the Health and Wellness Committee. In 2011, Kim held multiple roles, including Marketing Committee Member at Centre for Family Business (CFFB) and Advisor Assistant at PWL Capital. Additionally, they served as a Finance Executive at Laurier SOS in 2012 and held various positions at Students In Free Enterprise, including Marketing Director and Entrepreneurs In Action Program Manager.

Kim Duong obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Honours in Accounting and a minor in French from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2008 to 2012. Kim further pursued their education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2016 to 2018, where they received the Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kim Duong also obtained the CPA, CA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) in November 2016. The additional certification of the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) was also achieved, although the specific month and year are not provided.
