Alasdair Brown

Alasdair Brown is currently a Customer Success Engineer at Tinybird.co. Alasdair previously worked as a Senior Developer Advocate for Cloudera from March 2020 to May 2022 and as a CySec Platform Lead for BT from September 2015 to March 2020.

As part of the Innovation Accelerator team at Cloudera, Alasdair was responsible for finding new technologies that excited customers and assessing their market fit. Alasdair also worked on integrating the Cloudera Data Platform with dbt, with the launch of the dbt-impala adapter.

At BT, Alasdair was in charge of architecture and implementation of large scale cyber analytics platforms across Telecom, Gov and Finance. Alasdair has experience with low latency, real time streaming with ElasticSearch, Kafka, Spark, Impala & HBase.
