Marc Lousky

Marc Lousky has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marc is currently working at Tipalti as an Engineering Lead, where they are involved in building a modern procurement platform using technologies such as Node, React, GraphQL, and AWS.

Prior to this, Marc worked at Shutterfly from 2014 to 2021, where they held multiple roles. Marc served as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, leading a cross-functional team accountable for Shutterfly's automatic product creation services involving deep learning, big data, and cloud operations. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Web Engineer, where they designed and implemented scalable and secure cloud architecture based on Amazon Web Services, leveraging various services such as SQS, S3, EC2, and DynamoDb.

Marc has also been involved in entrepreneurial ventures. Marc co-founded Clozzle in 2013 and played an integral role until 2021. Additionally, they founded and worked as a Senior Software Developer at SLTek from 2013 to 2014.

In terms of their educational background, Marc obtained an MSc degree in Environmental and Agricultural Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2012. Their research involved integrating a plant model and optimization policies for a greenhouse's decision support system, utilizing C# for implementation.

Early in their career, Marc worked as a software engineer at Elbit Systems Ltd from 2004 to 2010. Marc was a member of the electronic warfare support measure team and was responsible for developing algorithms, system maintenance, and system development using the C language.

Marc Lousky obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Bioinformatics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Marc later pursued a Master's degree in Environment and Agriculture from the same institute from 2010 to 2012.
