Nicolas Bonnefon

Nicolas Bonnefon is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Tipalti since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at AlphaSights as the Director of Engineering from January 2020 to July 2021, where they were responsible for managing teams and improving the architecture and technical skills of the engineering team. Before joining AlphaSights, they were an Engineering Manager at Cisco from March 2017 to September 2018, leading the development team for the middleware of Sky+ set-top box. Nicolas also worked as a Technical Architect at Sky from June 2015 to March 2017, where they were responsible for delivering software releases and defining architecture for new features. Prior to that, they worked at Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead from October 2005 to June 2015, developing middleware for BSkyB's set-top boxes. Nicolas gained further experience as a Senior Software Engineer at NDS Ltd from October 2005 to October 2012, and as a Software Engineer at Philips from September 2004 to October 2005. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Valeo from March 2003 to September 2004, where they designed and implemented embedded software for automatic climate control in vehicles. Nicolas started their career as a Product Engineer at Parrot from September 2002 to March 2003 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Thales from March 2002 to September 2002.

Nicolas Bonnefon obtained their Master's Degree in Microelectronics and Telecommunications from ENSICAEN - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen. Nicolas pursued this degree from 1999 to 2002. Before that, they attended Lycée La Fayette in Clermont Ferrand for two years (1997-1999) to complete their prepa PSI* (Scientific Preparatory Classes) program. However, the degree they pursued during this time is not specified.
