Zachary Leighton has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. Zachary began their career as an R&D Intern at docSTAR in 2008, where they designed flash-based training software and provided assistance in the R&D department. From 2010 to 2012, Zachary worked as a Freelancer at Netubique.com, specializing in rapid Wordpress deployments and handling web development, social network management, and SEO tasks. In 2012, they joined The Adirondack Trust Company as a System Programmer, where they contributed to system programming until 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a .NET Developer at HVHC Inc. At the Orthodox Union, they served as a Contract Software Engineer from 2016 to 2017, working on various software systems, including API development, front-end development, and data-layer management. In 2016, Zachary also started a side project as a Creator by developing a mobile app called ParveZman. Since 2017, they have been working at Tipalti, initially as a Full Stack Developer on the AP Team, creating solutions for invoicing and bills workflow and implementing advanced UI features. Zachary then took on the role of Senior Software Developer on the Integration Team, pioneering new integrations using NodeJS and VueJS for the integration API, sync microservices, and customer setup portal API. Finally, they currently serve as a Software Architect at Tipalti, starting from December 2019. Overall, Zachary has a strong background and expertise in software development, with proficiency in various programming languages and technologies.

Zachary Leighton received their Advanced Regents Diploma in Advanced Regents from Niskayuna High School, a school they attended from 2004 to 2007. Following this, they pursued higher education at Binghamton University from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
