Karen Hernandez Gabel

Karen Hernandez Gabel has a solid work experience primarily in human resources roles. Karen started working at Cognos as an HR & Training Coordinator in 2008 and then moved on to Marky's Group, Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist in 2009. After that, they worked as an Executive Account Developer at Safari Ltd from 2012 to 2013, managing customer accounts and participating in trade shows. Karen then joined Columbus Networks as a Human Resources Generalist from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Crescent Heights, first as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist and later as a Human Resources Manager. Currently, they are working at BioTissue, where they started as a Sr. Human Resources Manager in 2019 and has been promoted to the role of Human Resources Director in 2021.

Karen Hernandez Gabel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Florida International University from 2004 to 2009. Karen then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their academic achievements, they also hold various certifications such as Facilitative Leadership® from Interaction Associates, Everything DiSC Workplace® Certification from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand, and SHRM Talent Acquisition Speciality from SHRM.
