George Kapodistrias

George is the Head of Ultrasound R&D and Systems Engineering. He has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Boston University, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. George is an accomplished technologist and leader and has repeatedly guided cross-functional teams to the successful completion of R&D projects and other business development activities.

He has an extensive track record in the ultrasound industry for Philips and Samsung with many successful products in the areas of general imaging and Women’s Healthcare. As part of Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, he led a Radar Modeling and Simulation team to success in the first Missile Defense Agency Digital System Pre-Mission Test resulting in flawless Runs for Record.
