Patrick Wooddisse

Patrick is head of the private client practice at TLT and also leads the tax and estate planning, team.

He is an experienced private client tax and estate planning lawyer with broad expertise across the full range of the UK and international tax planning and trust advice, with a particular focus on cross-jurisdictional work. His experience includes advising leading UK banks on complex trust law issues, advising international trust companies on succession planning, trust disputes, and precedents, and standard documentation. He also advises high net worth UK and non-UK residents on property, trust, tax, estate, and succession planning. He has a niche specialism in UK/US tax planning.

Patrick is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists. He is independently recognized as an expert in the field of Private Clients by both Legal 500 and Chambers UK, independent guides to the legal profession.

Patrick joined TLT from Burges Salmon in November 2008. Prior to this, he served for five years in the Royal Gurkha Rifles before completing his training contract with Amhurst Brown Colombotti in London.
