Haozheng Qu

Haozheng Qu is a Research Scientist at GE Vernova since April 2024 and has extensive experience in materials science and engineering. Active in various professional committees, including the Corrosion and Environmental Effects Committee and the Technical Program Committee for AMPP, Haozheng has contributed to organizing research symposiums, planning editorial topics, and coordinating award nominations. Previous positions include a Research Scientist role at GE Research and a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, focusing on cold spray repair for stress corrosion cracks in spent nuclear fuel canisters. Additional experience includes a Materials Behavior Internship at GE and undergraduate research at Purdue. Haozheng holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, along with a Master's in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. Participation in the SUPER Summer Study Abroad Program in Composite Structure Design and Manufacturing at the University of Stuttgart further enhances the educational background.
