Jay Alvarez-Icaza

Jay Alvarez-Icaza is a seasoned technology architect with extensive experience in enterprise data platforms and digital marketing solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Technology Architect at Toast since September 2021, Jay has led strategic initiatives to enhance marketing and sales technology stacks. Previously, Jay worked at Visa as a Lead Systems Architect and Global Analytics Technical Lead, focusing on analytics solutions and personalization campaigns. Jay’s career also includes key roles at USAA, Tokyo Electron, Harte Hanks, and Dell, where Jay demonstrated expertise in software development, integration, and business intelligence. Jay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin.
