Alex Garland

Alex Garland has over 18 years of experience in the finance industry. Their most recent role was as the Head of Corporate Lending & Portfolio at Together - loans, mortgages & finance, where they began in August 2019. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Director - Real Estate Finance at CYBG PLC from September 2015 to August 2019. From February 2014 to July 2015, they worked as an Asset Manager at APAM Ltd. Alex also gained significant experience as a Senior Manager at Anglo Irish Bank Corporation Ltd from May 2006 to January 2014. Before that, they were a Commercial Finance Manager at Northern Rock from May 2004 to May 2006, and a Commercial Underwriter at Blemain Group from January 2002 to May 2004.

Alex Garland attended the University of Lincoln from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in International Business. In 1997, they also briefly attended Auckland University of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Business degree.
