Marissa Galiley

Marissa Galiley has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at the Florida Delegation, Southeast US-Japan Association, Inc. in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Assistant Language Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Research Assistant and later a Teaching Assistant at Waseda University. In 2020, they joined Papyless Co Ltd as a Localization Specialist until 2022. In 2022, they worked as a Global Game Planner at CTW Inc. Currently, they are a Licensing & Business Development Associate at TOKYOPOP since 2023. Overall, Marissa has demonstrated a wide range of skills and experiences in education, research, localization, and business development.

Marissa Galiley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Japanese from the University of Florida in 2015. Marissa went on to further their education at Waseda University and completed their Master of Arts degree in International Culture and Communication Studies between 2018 and 2020. In January 2018, Marissa also obtained certification in the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), N2 from JEES - Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
