Davood Norouzi is a Senior Computational Biologist at Tome Biosciences, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this, Norouzi served as the Lead Computational Biologist and Computational Chemist at Howard Hughes Medical Institute from July 2019 to April 2022, focusing on the system and computational biology of chromatin. Norouzi's career also includes experience as a Bioinformatics Scientist at the National Cancer Institute from June 2013 to June 2019, and as a Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research from May 2012 to May 2013. In terms of education, Norouzi earned a Master’s Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University between 2015 and 2018, and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, Zanjan, from 2001 to 2010.
