David M. Zapata

David M. Zapata is the CEO and Founder of Zapwater Communications, Inc., an award-winning integrated communications agency specializing in lifestyle brands, serving since January 2005. Zapata is also an Advisory Board Member for Top Star Athletic Club, which aims to enhance Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for student-athletes. As a Founding Member and former Treasurer of the Travel Lifestyle Network, Zapata plays a key role in regional leadership across multiple countries. Additionally, Zapata was a Minority Owner of the Chicago Red Stars, a founding team of the National Women’s Soccer League, and served on the Chicago Technology Industry Diversity Council, focusing on creating opportunities for minorities in the tech sector. Previous experience includes positions at Slack Barshinger, ABI Marketing Public Relations, and Court Appointed Special Advocates of NYC. David M. Zapata earned a BA in Political Science from Gettysburg College.
