Chris Tanis

Chris Tanis has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries.

Currently, Chris is working at TOPdesk since 2019. In their current role as the Corporate Sustainability Manager, they are responsible for maximizing the company's positive impact through cooperation on CSR initiatives and knowledge sharing. Chris also co-founded the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) guild at TOPdesk in 2020.

Prior to this, Chris worked as a Project Manager at TOPdesk from 2021 to 2023, where they were responsible for managing service management improvement projects for Dutch national government customers. Before that, they worked as an IT Consultant at TOPdesk from 2019 to 2023, assisting national government organizations in improving their service management processes.

Before joining TOPdesk, Chris founded and owned TOB-Group from 2014 to 2019. TOB-Group was involved in importing, selling, renting, and leasing electric massage products for the B2B market, serving various industries such as cinemas, indoor playgrounds, fitness centers, and casinos.

Chris also has experience working at Coolblue, where they held multiple roles. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Service Specialist, and from 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Service Specialist. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Specialist from 2014 to 2015.

Before joining Coolblue, Chris worked as an Operations Assistant at Great Hotels of the World in 2013 and as a Sales Specialist at Foto Klein from 2011 to 2013.

Chris Tanis completed a Master's degree in Business Information Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Pre-master program in International Business Administration at the same university from 2017 to 2018. Chris obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Management Studies from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences between 2011 and 2015. Chris'ssecondary education was completed at Guido de Brès, where they obtained a VWO diploma specializing in "Economie en Maatschappij" from 2005 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2022. Chris also holds a certification in Certified IPMA D Project Management from the International Project Management Association, which they obtained in July 2021.
