Renan Jordano de Barros

Renan Jordano de Barros has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. During their time at LEF future center, Renan worked as a User Research Designer for their graduation project, focusing on how visual stimuli influences the creativity of participants in creative facilitation sessions. Renan successfully increased productivity at workshops by stimulating stakeholders to think visually.

Additionally, Renan has gained experience as a Marketing & Research Intern at UNGA, where they supported focus groups and conducted quantitative research. Renan also worked as an Events Officer for OBS - OLYMPIC BROADCASTING SERVICES during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, providing information to broadcasters and attending daily briefings.

Earlier in their career, Renan worked as a Marketing Design Intern at Brasilcap, where they contributed to organizational communication by creating printed and digital materials and generating new ideas for social media and events.

Renan Jordano de Barros completed their education in a chronological order. Renan began their academic journey at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in 2012, where they pursued "Visual Communication with emphasis in Marketing" and studied the fields of Graphic Design and Marketing. This program lasted until 2016. Following this, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology in 2016 and undertook a Master of Science (MSc) degree in "Industrial Design Engineering - Design for Interaction," which they completed in 2018. Lastly, from 2019 to 2021, Renan pursued an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Twente.
