Fernando Torterolo

Fernando Torterolo has been working in the software engineering field since 2013. Fernando started their career as a Java Developer at Bull in 2013, followed by a role as a Web Application Developer at BQN (Alassio S.A.) in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Globant, followed by a similar role at Oktana Corporation from 2017 to 2019. Fernando then moved to Tarmac.IO where they worked as a Software Engineer until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at both Topl and Scalac. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Informatics Technician at Martex SA from 2010 to 2010 and at Sonda from 2010 to 2010.

Fernando Torterolo completed their Ingeniería en Informatica at Universidad Católica Uruguay from 2011 to 2018. In addition, they obtained a Functional Program Design in Scala certification from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016 and a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera in December 2014.
