Charity Ika began their career in 2015 as an Operations Manager at The Zapphir Group, where they were responsible for working with suppliers, monitoring stock levels, and briefing management on the state of the business. In 2017, they moved to Jumia Travel as a Travel Advisor, where they assisted in making and booking of hotels and tickets for both individual and corporate clients. In 2020, they joined Travelstart as a Customer Support Agent, where they were responsible for assisting in making and booking of airline tickets for both individual and corporate customers, providing professional guidance and assistance for customers using the company's products, and performing root cause analysis and reporting product malfunctions. In 2021, they joined Topship (YC W22) as a Merchant Support Manager and Merchant Support.

Charity Ika attended the University of Port Harcourt from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political and Administrative studies.
