David Schneider has extensive work experience in the restaurant industry. David currently serves as the Vice President of NY Operations at Toptable Group, where they have successfully rebuilt management teams and created a positive work culture. David oversees the operations of two restaurants, Oceans and Carlotto, in New York City. Prior to this, David worked as the Director of Operations at Portale Restaurant, where they led the team through a successful restaurant opening and managed operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. David was also involved in various aspects of restaurant development, including design, menu development, and finance/accounting setup. David has previously held positions at Altamarea Group, Marlon Abela Restaurant Corporation, Union Square Hospitality Group, and 71 Clinton Fresh Food, where they gained valuable experience in restaurant management and culinary skills.
David Schneider has a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies from Columbia University. David also holds a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from eCornell, a culinary degree from the Institute of Culinary Education, and has completed the WSET Level 3 - Advanced Certificate in Wine Studies from the International Wine Center (IWC). Additionally, David has studied German at the Goethe Institut and Spanish at NESOL.
