Serhii Yakovenko

Serhii Yakovenko is an experienced engineering manager and QA automation engineer with a strong background in quality assurance and automation testing. Currently at Toptal since July 2019, Serhii focuses on creating QA processes within Agile methodologies, utilizing Ruby as the main programming language, and implementing front-end and API testing using tools such as Cucumber, RSpec, and Jenkins. Previously, Serhii worked at SoftServe on the Stealthwatch project for Cisco, analyzing network security analytics, and at Ciklum, developing applications for the entertainment industry. Earlier experience at SPS Commerce involved analyzing functional specifications and standards in electronic data interchange. Serhii holds a master's degree in Energymanagement from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' and has completed QA training at Bionic University.
