Jamie Robinson

Jamie Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They most recently worked as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and Counsel at Torchlight Investors starting in July 2023. Prior to that, Jamie worked as an Associate specializing in Asset Management and Investment Funds at K&L Gates from March 2022 to July 2023.

Jamie's legal experience includes working at Metsch & Metsch LLP as an Associate Attorney where they drafted private equity fund documentation and prepared regulatory filings from May 2019 to February 2022. They also worked as a Legal Intern/Law Clerk at the same firm, where they performed research, drafted legal memoranda, and assisted in breach of contract cases from January 2018 to May 2019.

Jamie's earlier legal experience includes working as a Legal Extern at Starworks Group (SWG) where they drafted and reviewed contracts, participated in negotiations, and created guidance documents from May 2017 to August 2017. They also worked as a Legal Intern at Stein & Ott and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Nancy M. Bannon at the New York State Supreme Court.

Jamie has experience outside of the legal field as well. They worked as a Secondary English Teacher at Commonwealth Connections Academy - Philadelphia, managing a caseload of over 100 inner-city students and developing instructional lessons and materials from January 2014 to August 2015. They also served as an NCAA Student Athlete Tutor at Penn State University, tutoring student athletes in various subjects.

Before their legal career, Jamie worked as a Marketing Assistant and CEO Assistant at Gregory Welteroth Advertising, where they assisted with organization, development of media plans, and completed research projects from August 2009 to August 2013.

Jamie Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a minor in English from Penn State University, specializing in English/Language Arts, Education & Communications. Following this, Jamie attended Brooklyn Law School, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in the field of Law.
