Lorne Shiaman

Lorne Shiaman currently serves as Associate Director of IT Strategy and Innovation at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, a position held since August 2018. Prior experience includes a managerial role in Business Transformation at Air Canada, focusing on MRO system replacement, and as Portfolio Lead for IBM, overseeing services provided to Air Canada Technical Services. Lorne's career at Air Canada also included responsibilities as Manager of Central Maintenance Planning, Six Sigma Black Belt, Manager of Technical Records, Program Manager for integrated maintenance software development, and Engineer dedicated to aircraft systems. Lorne holds a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and is currently an MBA candidate at Ivey Business School at Western University.
