Soim Hur

Soim Hur has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Soim began their career as a Buying MD Intern at LF corp in 2013 before moving on to a role as MD at MCM Worldwide. In 2014, they joined the Institue of Art and Science Convergence as a UX Researcher. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Product Designer & UX Engineer at Tumblbug, Inc. where they built web/app products and led the design thinking process. In 2018, they became a founding member and Product Designer at Kasa, where they developed the early-stage service outline and conducted user research for a blockchain-based trading service. Currently, Soim Hur is working as a Product Designer at Viva Republica (Toss), where they are responsible for setting up savings products and building automobile and car insurance services under the Insurance Tribe.

Soim Hur began their education at Sunhwa Arts School from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Fine Arts. Soim then attended Sunhwa Arts High School from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Fine Arts and painting. In 2008, Soim enrolled at Ewha Womans University and completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Painting and Fiber Arts in 2013. Later, in 2011, they briefly attended Northern Arizona University as a Visiting Student. Continuing their education, Soim went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Media Design from Ewha Womans University, which they completed between 2014 and 2016.
