Mandie Pierson

Mandie Pierson serves as the Talent Acquisition Lead at Tower Insurance since August 2022, overseeing a dispersed team responsible for comprehensive talent solutions across New Zealand and the Pacific and contributing to the recruitment strategy for the future workforce. Prior to this role, Mandie held positions at Unitec Institute of Technology, including Recruitment Lead, where leadership of the Talent Acquisition team was key to managing recruitment for New Zealand's largest institute of technology. Mandie also served as a Recruitment Business Partner at Unitec, and has experience as a Recruitment Consultant at Medacs Global Group. Mandie's earlier career includes roles such as Patient Access Support Coordinator at Bayer, Medical Sales Representative at Sandoz, and Critical Care Registered Nurse at Medi Clinic. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Stellenbosch University, along with various certifications in medical and human resources fields. Current educational pursuits include an Employment Law Masterclass and a Recruitment Masterclass.
