Julie Mitchell (she/her)

Julie Mitchell has extensive work experience in the field of recreation and culture. Julie served as the Director of Recreation and Culture at the Town of Oakville from May 2020 onwards. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager of Recreation Planning & Development at the same organization from April 2017 to May 2020. Before joining the Town of Oakville, Julie worked at the City of Mississauga. Julie was the Manager of Golf from November 2014 to May 2017, and prior to that, they served as a Facility Manager from May 2009 to November 2014.

Julie Mitchell attended George Brown College, where they studied Fitness & Lifestyle Management. Julie also attended Streetsville Secondary but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study there.
