Atira Nitto

Atira Nitto, CISSP, CCISO has an extensive work experience in various roles related to information security and technology. Atira is currently working as the Lead Business Information Security Officer at Toyota Financial Services Corporation since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Principal Solutions Architect - Cybersecurity at Kudelski Security from January 2021 to December 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Atira worked at Cisco as a Business Solutions Architect, where they collaborated with partner executive management teams to develop partner practices and services around Cisco solutions. Atira also served as an Audit and Compliance Consultant in Corporate Development at Cisco from 2011 to 2018.

Before joining Cisco, Atira worked as a Sr. Security Engineer at American Airlines in 2011 and as a Security Lead Consultant at Wipro Technologies from 2007 to 2011. Atira also gained experience as a Telecommunications Specialist at Robert Half in 2004, a Technical Support Engineer at Convergys Intelligent Contact from 2002 to 2003, a Systems Engineer at Logic Software Solutions from 2001 to 2002, and a Technical Support Engineer at Future Soft India in 2000. Atira began their career as a Systems Administrator at Peninsular Capital Ltd from 1998 to 1999.

Atira Nitto holds a Master's degree in System Engineering and Management with a concentration in Cybersecurity and Assurance from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, which was obtained from 2018 to 2020. Atira also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology, obtained from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Atira Nitto has certifications including CISSP from ISC2 in 2013 and CCSP from Cisco in 2013. Atira also holds certifications in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in 2021, and Cisco Business Architecture Specialist and Analyst obtained in 2019 and 2018 respectively. Atira Nitto also has an ITIL Foundation Level certification, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
