Alok Vaish

Group VP, Service Parts & Accessories, Toyota Motor North America at Toyota Motor Corporation

Alok Vaish is group vice president for Toyota’s Service Parts and Accessories Division. Service Parts and Accessories division develops and provides fulfillment of service parts and accessories, across North American and all export markets where North American-produced vehicles are sold.

Most recently, Vaish completed a two year assignment in Parts Operations Division of Toyota’s World HQ in Nagoya, Japan. During his assignment in Japan, Vaish was responsible for increasing sales and customer service by supporting distributors in Europe, Africa and America.

Since joining TMS in 1992, as a kaizen engineer in Toyota Logistic Services, Vaish has held a number of management positions including; supplier development, procurement planning, supply chain improvement, strategic planning, field operations and systems planning.

Prior to joining Toyota, he was an operations manager for Quality Fabrication, Inc., a sheet metal manufacturing company. Vaish was first introduced to kaizen and Toyota production system concepts at Tata Motors of India.

Vaish received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India. He earned his MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Utah.
