We’re looking for a Solution Engineer to join our team and be part of our next stage of growth. As our Solution Engineer, your top priority is to support our pre-sales and engagement teams to assist customers and lead strategies to bring innovative solutions that map Salesforce and Traction Rec solutions to meet customer needs, support the sales cycle, set client expectations on future state and set up the customer for long term success. You will use your industry experience and technology expertise to assist customers managing change, evolving their business process, and maximizing their technology investment. You will work cross functionally with our product, services, support, sales, and engagement teams to enable the success of our customers.

What You Will Be Doing
Lead discovery sessions with prospective customers to elaborate further on organizational goals and objectives in regard to digital change/transformation
Leverage people, process, and technical delivery to add to value to the sales cycle
Leverage deep business understanding to identify challenges, diagnose issues, provide insights and recommendations, and develop proactive solutions to solve business objectives internally and externally
Responsible for driving deeper level technical requirements by leading discoveries during sales process to scope and estimate the projects
Architect technical and business solutions to match client needs
Support statement-of-work creation and estimation process
May demo/build a proof of concept based on customers’ business requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the platform, sometimes requiring rapid prototyping and/or solution demo for client.
Develop, present, and deliver high impact demonstrations of Traction Rec and Salesforce solutions
Work with external sales and executive leaders
Clearly articulate the benefits of potential solutions to all client levels up to "C" level executives
Manages initiatives to simplify, standardize, and improve accuracy for our Presales process, focusing on scalability
Works with team members to solve complex problems as required
Partners with cross-functional team key stakeholders as a strategic liaison for the Presales team
Partner with engagement team to ensure growth, adoption, and success of our customers
Act as a subject matter expert to support professionals, services engagements, and client system migration projects
Become a trusted advisor for new and existing clients
Travel to clients or events (Must be able to travel in Canada and US, without restriction)
Compensation
At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.
The starting salary band for this role is $100,000-$110,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role.
