Alex Ciorapciu

Alex Ciorapciu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Alex is currently the VP Product at Tradebyte since 2023. Previously, from 2020 to 2023, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of autoRetouch, a leading SaaS platform for AI-based image editing, which was acquired by Meero SAS. Alex held various responsibilities during this time, including managing the company, designing and executing product strategies, and being responsible for P&L, investor relations, and board reporting.

Prior to autoRetouch, Alex worked as a Product Manager Data Science at E. Breuninger GmbH & Co. from 2017 to 2020. There, they worked on a project called autoRetouch, which later became a spin-off company that received initial investment from Breuninger.

From 2013 to 2017, Alex worked at RichRelevance (now Algonomy), where they held several roles including Director of Global Solution Engineering & Partnerships, Head of Omnichannel Strategy, Principal Solutions Engineer, and Senior Solution Engineer. Alex was responsible for technical pre-sales, developing omnichannel strategies, supporting sales efforts, and developing the partner program and ecosystem.

Alex also has experience working at SAP Hybris as a Senior Solution Engineer in 2013 and at Adobe Systems as a Senior Solutions Consultant and Solutions Consultant DACH from 2008 to 2013. Before that, they worked as an Entrepreneur at acnmd and as a Project Manager at Senales de Humo.

Alex Ciorapciu completed a Diplom in International Business German-Spanish from the University of Applied Science at Dortmund from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Alex obtained a Titulación Superior in International Business from ESIC Business & Marketing School in 2006. In 2018, Alex completed a nanodegree in Design Thinking from Udacity.
