Dimitri Popolov has worked in various roles since 1997. From 1997 to 2005, they worked as a Java Developer for Crisp Computing Ltd. and a Training Manager for ABBYY. In 2004, they took a role as a Science & Technology Officer for the Swiss Embassy in Moscow. From 2002-2004, they worked as a Science & Technology Officer for the British Embassy in Moscow. From 2005-2011, they worked as an IT Trainer/Consultant for EMC Computer Systems, an ECM Solutions Consultant for IBM, and a SR&ED Sr. Consultant for KPMG Canada. From 2013-2019, they worked as a Chief Data Scientist for Dataskill and a Research Systems and Data Manager for CANet | Cardiac Arrhythmia Network of Canada. In 2019, they took on the role of Chief Data Scientist for TradeSun™, Inc.

Dimitri Popolov has a long and varied educational history. Dimitri completed a PhD in Computer Sciences & Engineering at De Montfort University between 1997 and 2002. Before that, they completed an Engineer degree in Information systems at Bauman Moscow State Technical University between 1991 and 1997. In addition, they have a number of certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, HL7, IBM, Oracle, and EMC. These certifications cover topics such as Machine Learning, Blockchain, FHIR, Health Informatics, Database Administration, and Content Management Systems.
