Thomas Mandzik has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Thomas is currently the Small Business Owner of Factory@4914, which they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Head Chef at TradeWinds Island Resorts, where they were responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of 15+ staff members across four different outlets. Thomas also oversaw daily operations, including sanitation, quality control, menu writing, and ordering. From 2006 to 2010, Thomas worked as an Assistant Banquet Chef at St. Petersburg Yacht Club, supporting the Executive Banquet Chef with various tasks, such as inventory management, ordering, menu planning, and production. Before that, they began their culinary career as an intern at The Club of Treasure Island in 2004 and worked their way up to the position of Executive Sous Chef.
Thomas Mandzik began their education in 2004 at the Pinellas Technical Education Center-Clearwater, where they pursued a certification in Culinary Arts/Chef Training. Thomas completed their studies in 2005. Following this, they obtained a certification in Sports and Exercise, although the specific institution and timeframe for this certification are not provided. Additionally, Thomas Mandzik also earned the Culinarian certification from Pinellas County Schools in June 2005.
