Zaur Kazimov

Zaur Kazimov has a diverse work experience. Zaur began their career in 2013 as an Inventory Associate at Walmart Canada and later worked as a Merchandise Flow Associate at Sears Canada. In 2014, they joined the University of Waterloo as a Teaching Assistant. Zaur then joined TRAFFIX in 2014, starting as a Logistics Coordinator before transitioning to roles as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, and currently as the Director of Business Intelligence.

Zaur Kazimov obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from Qafqaz University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Management Science degree in Applied Operations Research at the University of Waterloo from 2012 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Zaur has also obtained various certifications. Zaur completed the "Fundamentals of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform" certification from Databricks in March 2023. In February 2023, they achieved the "Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft. Prior to that, in June 2022, they obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals" certification. In December 2021, Zaur earned the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification.

Alongside their academic and professional pursuits, Zaur has also obtained several other certifications. Zaur completed the "Data Visualization and Communication with Tableau" certification from Duke University in December 2015. In the same month, they earned the "Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies" certification from the same institution. Zaur also acquired the "Microsoft Excel for Data Analysis and Visualization" certification from Microsoft in October 2015. In January 2015, they completed the "Transportation of Dangerous Goods" certification from Online Learning Enterprises Inc.

Furthermore, Zaur received various certifications related to professional development and communication skills. Zaur obtained the "Essentials of Productive Teams," "Foundations of Project Management - A Team Based Approach," and "Proactive and Practical Communication" certifications from Mitacs Inc. - Inspiring Innovation in September 2013 and February 2013, respectively. Before that, in November 2012, Zaur completed the "Student Leadership Program" from the University of Waterloo.
