Heloise Murray Chinelli

Heloise Murray Chinelli has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, disposals, delistings, management buyouts, takeovers, corporate reorganization, and restructuring, as well as general commercial law. Heloise is experienced in advising on transactions governed by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and/or the Takeover Regulation Panel (TRP), as well as on JSE Listings Requirements, Takeover Regulations, Companies Act, and other relevant legislation.

From September 2022, Heloise has been serving as the Group Head of Legal at Transaction Capital Limited. Previously, they worked at Sasfin Capital Proprietary Limited/Sasfin Bank Limited from July 2017 to August 2022, initially as a Legal Executive within the Sasfin Capital division and later within Sasfin Bank Limited. During their time at Sasfin, they actively participated in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions, including those regulated by the JSE and/or the TRP.

Before joining Sasfin Capital, Heloise was a Director at the corporate commercial department of ENS (Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs) from January 2005 to June 2017. At ENS, they specialized in mergers and acquisitions and general commercial law, working with local and international clients from various industries.

Heloise Murray Chinelli attended Redhill High School from 1996 to 1997. Heloise then continued their education at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) degree from 1999 to 2004.
