Marcia P.

Marcia P. has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Marcia started their career as an HR Manager at CTV in 2001 and held this role until 2003. Marcia then joined The Economical Insurance Group as a Human Resources Specialist in 2004. In 2005, Marcia moved to Greyhound as a Human Resources Manager. Marcia worked there until 2007 when they transitioned to Focus Corporation as the Director of Human Resources. Marcia worked at Focus Corporation until 2012. Their most recent role was at TransAlta, where they held several positions including HR Advisor, Manager of Total Rewards & HR Corporate Support, and Vice President of People and Talent. Marcia's employment at TransAlta started in 2013 and is ongoing.

Marcia P. holds a Post Grad Diploma in Human Resources, which they obtained from Seneca Polytechnic in 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Arts with a major in Psychology at The University of British Columbia from 1991 to 1996.
