Howard Liebman has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Howard started their career as a Reporter/Photographer at Canadian Airlines International while completing their High School and University undergraduate studies. Following this, they worked as a Flight Attendant at Air Canada while pursuing full-time law studies at McGill University. During this time, they gained strong customer service and teamwork skills in a high-pressure frontline position.

After completing their studies, Howard worked as a Lawyer at Stikeman Elliott LLP before transitioning to a role as Chief Of Staff and Executive Assistant to Canadian Justice Minister & Attorney General, the Hon. Irwin Cotler, MP, at the Parliament of Canada. Howard was recruited from a large firm corporate law practice for this role and served in government and opposition mandates until 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, Howard served as a Special Advisor to the Mayor of Montreal, responsible for the city's International and Inter-governmental Relations portfolios, outreach, diplomacy, and protocol. Howard achieved the repositioning of Montreal among global cities in collaboration with internal and external partners.

Howard then joined Transat in 2018, initially as a Senior Director of Government and Community Affairs, and later as the Vice President of Government Relations. The end dates for their roles at Transat are not provided.

Howard Liebman has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Laws - LLB and a Bachelor of Civil Law - BCL from McGill University's Faculty of Law, completed from 1995 to 1999. In 2001, they obtained a License to Practice Law in Quebec from Ecole du Barreau / Quebec Bar School.
