Delphine Rispal began their work experience in 2007 as a research assistant and PhD candidate at CGM/CNRS/Université Paris XI et IGBMC Illkirch. In this role, they studied protein factors involved in translation termination and Nonsense-mediated mRNA decay, conducted literature reviews and research, collected and analyzed data, and participated in interdisciplinary research programs. Delphine also organized a student meeting with the European Science Foundation and secured funding from the French Medical Research. During this time, they published three articles.
In 2012, Rispal joined Université de Genève as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. Delphine focused on studying the regulation of signaling pathways using chemical compounds, particularly through a collaboration with Novartis. In addition to designing, planning, organizing, and managing projects, they presented their findings at conferences and meetings and gained technical knowledge in molecular and cellular biology. Delphine also wrote and reviewed reports, papers, and documentation, publishing three scientific articles.
Continuing their work at Université de Genève, Rispal became a scientific project manager (post-doc) in 2017. Their responsibilities included developing mutant human cell lines using CRISPR CAS9 technology and expressing and purifying proteins in bacteria and mammalian cells. Delphine developed expertise in human cell culture and manipulation and utilized an automated liquid chromatography system. Their role ended in March 2018.
Most recently, Rispal worked as a scientific writer at TransCure bioServices starting in March 2020. No end date is provided for this role.
Delphine Rispal's education history includes a range of academic achievements. In 2006, they obtained a Master's degree in sciences, technology, and health from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI). Following this, they pursued a higher level of education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in molecular and cellular biology at Paris-Sud University from 2007 to 2011. In 2016, they attended AFPI Centre de Formation Haute-Savoie for an unspecified period, without obtaining a degree.
Additionally, Delphine Rispal has also obtained certifications in the field of clinical research. In October 2019, they received ICH Good Clinical Practice E6 certification from the Global Health Training Centre. Moreover, in August 2019, they completed the Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials course offered by Coursera.
